Learning and Development

Canterbury City Community Centre is a site of formal and informal adult education. Through our Centre Programs, or by working in partnership with other Organisations, we offer a range of opportunities for residents to learn new skills and gain information which builds capacity for those participating ... and for the community at large. Some of the courses we are able to offer are at Certificate, or partial Certificate, level and can assist in accessing further study or employment. All training is offered in a relaxed and friendly setting ... making learning easier for all!

Courses and training opportunities are constantly changing and we suggest you subscribe to our email alerts or newsletter to be kept up to date. Liking us on facebook is also a great way to receive information about courses available at short notice.

Whilst our STARS Training Service is our largest Learning and Development provider we also deliver a range of other fantastic opportunities as listed below;

STARS provides quality learning and development that is accessible and affordable to build the capacity of the Commonwealth Home Support Program to deliver entry level community aged care services. For more information contact the STARS team at [email protected] or call 9750 9344.
