2020 Annual Reports

While we might all be glad to see the end of 2020 it has still been a busy year at the 4cs. Our Annual Reports are now available to view. Thanks everyone for the support and collaboration during the year.

Two Information Directories to assist during the Covid-19 pandemic

1. Information Directory - contains the latest information on Centrelink benefits, health services including mental health, and other local services.

Lakemba Ladies Lounge October to December 2020

Once again in Term 4 we will be connecting with ZOOM, Thursdays 10 am to 12 pm. You just need to download Zoom on your laptop, phone or computer. It’s FREE and if you need help call Romana on 0412 270 811.

Learn English for Work or Study

We are still enrolling for our face to face evening English classes to help you develop your English-language skills, job seeking skills and confidence to try higher levels of study and work. Courses are free for Centrelink recipients and will be run according to Covid-19 safety guidelines to keep participants safe.

STARS Update COVID-19

Given the current situation with COVID -19 and the need to prioritise people’s safety, STARS has decided to postpone all face to face training, forums and activities until the end of April 2020. We will be adhering to the Commonwealth Department of Health guidelines and keep you informed when face to face training is able to resume.

COVID-19 Update

As most people are aware COVID-19, or Coronavirus, has been emerging as a global threat to health for several months. At the 4cs we have been monitoring the developments closely and have had a plan in place for several weeks to guide our response … this plan has been constantly evolving as the situation changes.

Introduction to Community Services - Limited places still available

Limited places are still available in this short course which will help you begin to get the skills and knowledge needed to work in aged care, childcare, classroom support or other community service roles.

Phishing Alert ... on 6th February an email purporting to be our CEO or spoofing her account was sent to several contacts saying that Liz wanted to share a file. We have secured the threat at our end but if you received the email please delete it and do not open the file!

Shopping Support Volunteers Needed

Do you have a couple of hours to spare each week or fortnight, have a car and enjoy spending time with older people? There are older people in the community who need the support of a friendly person to do some local light shopping.
